The Tattooed Ladies of Mike Giant
Mike Giant is pretty much good at everything- So we're just gonna talk about his awesome tattooed pinups for now.
I've written about Mike Giant before, and I'll probably write about him again- for the sole purpose that he is so goddamn multi-faceted that his list of talents and endeavors could fill a book. Giant has created a name for himself in the art world that spans over numerous mediums- whether it's through graffiti, illustration, graphic design, photography or tattooing- he's done it, and he's killed it. And not only has he done it, but he continues to do so.
It's obvious when looking at Giant's work that he's drawing from several different places for inspiration. There's the punk rock, skate-culture vibe and then there's a very obvious hip-hop feel to it all as well... Which is all effortlessly combined and wrapped in a beautiful, crisp, clean package. And THAT part can be at least mostly credited to his background in graphic design.
"I’m a product of my generation. I grew up through the 80s and was drawn to the punk rock and hip-hop cultures simultaneously. And I threw myself in headfirst."
