If you were an outsider in the tattoo industry, you might think that working in strictly blackwork would be incredibly limiting. Using only one color to decorate a person's skin seems like a tall task for someone, and if you were able to add a bit of color, it might make your life much easier when it comes to having satisfied customers.

You'd be dead wrong if you think that. And artists like Daniel Matsumoto are out in the world to prove you wrong. He can create some complex and detailed concentric blackwork pieces that will leave your mouth agape and your eyes popping out of your skull.

There isn't much information to be found on Matsumoto, he's a very mysterious artist. On his social media pages he doesn't list a city he lives in, or a tattoo shop he works out of, but that hasn't stopped Matsumoto from collecting over 75k followers on Instagram, where he updates his feed frequently with new tattoos that he's doing somewhere in the observable universe.
