The best tattoo artists gathered at Paris Tattoo Convention, the Mondial du Tatouage 2016.
More than 300 tattoo artists from all over the globe are showing their talent in various tattoo styles in one of the biggest tattoo convention in the world.
Set in Paris, the capital of France, the Mondial du Tatouage is the ultimate rendez-vous for tattoo lovers. With a world record of visitors and an impressive display of tattoo legends, it is one of the most prestigious convention on the planet. As its organizer, French tattoo master Tin-Tin, wants it, the Mondial du Tatouage 2016 was putting emphasis on tattoo as a Fine Art more than ever.
He gathered some of the leading tattoo artists, with legends such as Filip Leu, Shige, Freddy Corbin and Lynn Akura. All the styles were representated. From black and grey and lettering, with Antonio Todisco Macko and Norm, to contemporary tattoo art, with Simone Pfaff and Molko Merschky. Masters of realism such as Luka Lajoie were neighbouring dotwork prodigy Tomas Tomas, neo traditional gifted artist Claudia de Sabe and trendy lacemaker Marco Manzo.
At each booth, the visitors were feasting their eyes with some of the best tattoos of the world... The show was also providing top-notch artworks from the tattoo artists and the shop of El Rana was especially captivating collectors with its tattoo inspired jewellery. The Italian tattooist has also created the prizes for the contests, judged by Kari Barba, Filip Leu, Bill Salmon and Luke Atkinson, tattoo veterans and references in the tattoo community.
