A collective of 60 artists, Girl Pin Gang, is an invite only group whose members harness their combined audiences to create a following that they otherwise wouldn’t have access to. Pretty smart when you think about it, but then again, ladies always are. Patches and pins are the collective’s main appeal, attracting artists that are constantly finding new and innovative ways to create feminist pieces by drawing inspiration from cult classic characters like Dana Scully and Daria to politically relevant phrases like “Nasty Woman.” With a combined audience of nearly 50K and counting, it’s true what they say — ladies helping ladies is a beautiful thing.
