Motorhead’s original drummer Phil Taylor aka Philthy Animal also passed away aged 61 on November 11th this year. Lemmy spoke out that he was devastated to have lost a true friend. Speaking to U.K.’s Classic Rock magazine, he said: “I’m feeling very sad at the moment, in fact devastated, because one of my best friends died yesterday. I miss him already. His name was Phil Taylor, or Philthy Animal, and he was our drummer twice in our career. Now he’s died and it really pisses me off that they take somebody like him and leave George Bush alive. So muse on that.”

Now just a short time after Philthy’s death, we’ve lost Lemmy too. Celebrities all over the world are posting their tributes and memories across social media to the rock legend that has influenced countless bands and shown the world how to live the rock n roll lifestyle like a boss.
