The Most & Least Attractive Female Tattoos And Piercings

HuffPost teamed up with AskMen, ‘the No. 1 site to help men improve their lives,’ in grilling 1,300 blokes on what goes on in their mind regarding women with tattoos and piercings. They were asked to name the most attractive and least attractive part for a woman to get tattooed and pierced and this is what the guys at HuffPost and AskMen ended up with.

However, you don't really have to take this seriously if you're planning to break it into the dating scene especially if you're not in it for casual hook ups. We're assuming the men who were interviewed here aren't all into tattoos and we suppose you're not into dating anyone who's not a fan of tattoos, anyway—major dealbreaker, even. This is just some poll and like many other polls and surveys, this can be accurate. Quoting the infographic above, it's not like you should let men dictate what you can and can't do with your bodies.

TATTOOS

1. HIP

It seems like the hip tattoo is on fire with the men and won't mind their ladies rocking them. It's pretty tricky to maintain, though as the stomach area is prone to stretch and sags with women because it's not like men give birth at least twice in their lifetimes.

2. Shoulder or Upper Back

I've heard before that the men has this thing with women's shoulders. I'm not quite sure but there's supposed to be something hopelessly attractive with a woman's bare shoulder. Might have something to do with that. I swear I'm shitting you not, I read a lot and I might have picked up something from reading countless of men and women's magazines when I was a wee youngling.

3. Arm

Arm tattoos were received neutrally by the men who took the survey. It's not something they favoured the most but it's not like they disliked it though. I don't know about them but a woman with a gorgeous half or full sleeve is a sight to behold.

4. Foot

Foot tattoos also ranked fairly low. We're guessing it's because there are a lot of men who have foot fetishes. Carry on.

5. Lower back

Seems like there aren't a lot of lower back tattoo fans in the dating scene, either. Blame the “tramp stamp” label.

P I E R C I N G S

1. Belly Button

Unsurprisingly, the navel piercing ranked the highest once again in a survey based on physicality. The navel piercing may be associated with the “tramp stamp” sometimes but they're in completely different levels in the “hot or not” meter of this particular survey.

2. Nose

Nose rings were big the past couple years. It used to be a staple fashion statement mostly in India for years before the Western adapted the nose piercing and made it trendy.

3. Nipple

The votes on nipple piercings are still divided but that doesn't change the fact that these things are pretty hot actually. Especially when they can be visibly traced through shirts. Keeps No Bra Days interesting, we must say! The same goes with nipple tattoos in my opinion, really.

4. Tongue

Gone were the days tongue piercings were considered the ultimate turn on. Tongue piercings often used to be associated with good kissers but it seems like they've lost their glory as they were ranked pretty low in this survey.

5. Clit

Contrary to popular belief, this survey shows that genital piercings on women aren't exactly sexy. I'm sorry you had to see this.
