Tattoo Artist Spencer Harrington: 50 Roses In 50 Days

Tattoo artist Spencer Harrington achieves his tattoo design mission – draw 50 kick-ass roses in 50 days.

New Zealander Spencer Harrington (now tattooing in Toronto, Canada), is a painter, muralist and tattoo artist.
Painting flash is the core part of any tattoo apprenticeship and something Spencer feels he never got to practice enough, that’s where #50roses50days was born: “#50roses50days was really just an excuse to practise my flash painting and water-colouring. I had been psyching myself out about the difficulty of watercolours for way too long, so I decided to throw myself into the deep end by focusing on this little project!”

Since completing the huge roses flash sheet, his mind has certainly been plotting what he can do next: “I am very interested in doing a #50skulls50days sheet in the next few months. there really is a lot of things that would be fun to rock on a big sheet like this, like 50 lady heads, or 50 daggers. Bring it on.”
