Tattooed Troopers: Kansas Highway Patrol Might Change Its Policy

Due to a shortage in troopers, the Kansas Highway Patrol may possibly change its tattoo policy and bring in more tattooed troopers!!

Understaffed and in need of applicants, the Kansas Highway Patrol is turning to tattoos for help. Down on 100 troopers of the required 500, the KHP is in desperate need of more applicants to fill the shortage. They could possibly be turning to tattooed individuals to boost figures. Currently the KHP tattoo policy automatically disqualifies any applicants with;

– Any offensive tattoo regardless of location on the body. – Any tattoo that would be visible when wearing a uniform or required work attire. – Any marking appearing on the head, face, neck, hands or arms below the bicep.
