Beauty is a multi-faceted concept that is endlessly fascinated. Every culture — hell, every single person — has a different idea of what they consider to be “beautiful” and these beliefs are constantly in flux. In Beyond Beauty with Grace Neutral the visually striking tattooer and activist searches the globe to experience cultures and gain an understanding of how beauty is perceived within each.

Previously, Neutral traveled to South Korea to explore alternative takes on beauty in the largely conservative culture; for the second series she went to São Paulo, Brazil. It is there that Neutral finds a thriving youth culture that refuses to conform to the rigid beauty standards held by the society as a whole.
