Kim Gordon Offers Limited Edition Flash Tattoo at MoMA PS1

The indie and tattoo world can rejoice, as starting today, all of their wet dreams are officially coming true. The Gagosian Gallery is offering a once in a lifetime chance have tattoos by art and rock icons Kim Gordon, Devendra Banhart, Richard Wright, Douglas Gordon, Max Hooper Schneider, and Genesis Breyer P-Orridge.

All six artists have designed a limited-edition piece of flash art that will be available for no more than six individual tattoos per design. Currently, all six Kim Gordon and P-Orridge designs have sold out, but Banhart, Wright, Schneider, and Douglas Gordon pieces are still up for grabs. The wonderful artists of Brooklyn’s Flyrite Tattoo will be on hand to facilitate the tattooing process, and each tattoo will come with official paperwork verifying the authenticity and serial number of the work.
