As someone who spent six years in the lingerie industry, let me impart upon you one crucial piece of information: women wear lingerie for themselves. Yes, I know, shocking, but it actually can be quite difficult for some people to wrap their minds around. I mean, truth be told, most men don’t actually know or care about the difference between a bra and a bralette, women on the other hand do. For most women, purchasing a nice set of lingerie is equivalent to buying a handsome watch. Does anyone notice it on a daily basis? No, but it makes the wearer feel empowered, and perhaps a little more confident in themselves, and much like a good bra, I can fully support any lingerie company with this ideology.
