Ariel Winter and Her Sister Get Tattoos Together

Ariel Winter, the 18-year-old actress from Modern Family, is becoming quite the tattoo aficionado. She's gotten several in the past year since turning 18, and it doesn't appear that she'll be stopping any time soon. Once you get hooked on tattoos, you'll always want more.

And she's not just getting random tattoos at the drop of a hat. Her ink is deep and expressive to her, and almost all of them have some kind of special meaning to her and her family.

She is particularly close with her sister, the woman who was once her legal guardian before Ariel was emancipated from her parents.

Winter spoke to ET about the importance of her sister in her life. "My sister's one of the most amazing people in my life," Winter says. "She's my best friend. She's really the most important person to me. She has done so much for me, and has taught me so much."

Which is why it was quite a special trip to the tattoo shop when her sister decided to tag along and get some ink with her!

The actual tattoos haven't been revealed on social media just yet, but I'm sure in the next few days we'll have a clearer look at what Ariel and her sister, Shanelle got done at the parlor. Until then, we'll just have to settle for this cute sisterly moment via Snapchat.
