Tattooed Babe Crystal Rain Up for Miss Inked at Orlando's Kink Fest

This coming Saturday 12th November in Orlando, Florida will be a day full of tattoos & piercings, inked up babes, custom cars and killer rock music both local and international. The 3rd annual Kink Music Festival will kick off a celebration for alternative lifestyle lovers and also hold the Miss Inked Orlando Pageant. 5 lovely local ladies are up for the title but I personally would love to see Miss Crystal Rain crowned winner.

Why you might ask? Cause this girl really represents the tattoo lifestyle for me. She's the only one hardcore enough to have a badass throat tattoo and full stomach piece and doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon. She may be petite but this Mom of two boys is one tough lil cookie.

I got into contact with Crystal to hear a little from her about her inkwork and about being a finalist in the Miss Inked Orlando Pageant. Check out the story behind some of her tattoos.

I have a large tiger tattooed on my back that took over 23 hours to complete; He is my guardian and watches my back. I have a tattoo of a rose inside a skulls mouth, with a crow sitting on top. The rose represents life, the skull represents death (naturally), and the crow is a reminder that death could come and swoop me out of this lifetime at any given moment without warning. I try to make my days count. How we spend our days, adds up to how we spend our lives.

The bat tattoo on my throat, guarded by the two roses is a representation of my ability to be highly aware of all of my surroundings. I also love bats; They are fascinating creatures of the night!

I have a large, fierce, snarling wolf face tattooed on my stomach. I am a bit of a lone wolf and untamed. I am always seeking freedom, and I despise authority. He is also a warning that those who are not loyal to me, or fuck me over, will see my fierce side!

As well as living the tattoo lifestyle Crystal is also an avid photographer and a great supporter of her local metal music scene. You are very likely to find her at a local gig with a camera in her hands snapping away. Wicked Affliction Photography is her creative project and her portfolio is full of beautiful dark themed imagery and musicians rockin it out. She is also a horror superfan and more than at home in a Halloween store.

I have recently had the opportunity to join five other finalists in a tattoo pageant here in Orlando, Florida for an event known as the 3rd Annual Kink Music Festival which is hosted by a local rock station here, 101.1 WJRR. Kink Festival includes well known national musical guests and the best local bands, suspension acts, a car show, tattoo expo, and of course the tattoo pageant itself. I have never done piercing suspension before, but I may take part in it this year. Pain is only temporary, and it would be quite the experience
