Bachelor In Paradise Stars Grant Kemp and Lace Morris Split
These two, who seemed destined for eternal love, call off their engagement, despite their matching tattoos.
This just in — true love is dead.
Reality stars Grant Kemp and Lace Morris have called off their engagement, despite the fact that they are perfect for each other in every single way. The stars of Bachelor In Paradise have taken a trip to Splitsville and longtime fans of the show are in shock/tears.
How could this love that was manufactured on a reality show be coming to an end? On television, everything seemed to be going great for the couple. On camera, they were the perfect match for each other, destined to stay together forever. How could this happen?
The two former lovebirds even went so far as to get matching tattoos. If that isn't a sign of soulmates forever, I don't know what is.
So what happened? How'd it all go down? Well, Lace Morris gave Entertainment Tonight some insight.
"It really was mutual," Morris says. "We both have our issues we need to work on, and we can't really give each other what we need at this time. It's just not the right timing."
Seems like a perfectly reasonable reason to break up. I expected more drama from reality show stars.
Now Morris will forever have the "Grace" tattoo on her wrist. It matches with Kemp's version of the tattoo, and they will forever have that bond.
Morris says she wants to work on herself some more. It's the main reason she left The Bachelor, before signing on to do the spin-off Bachelor In Paradise.
"I just started working on myself right before Paradise, so I really haven't had much time to do it. This was kind of an eye-opener. I still have more to work on," she said to ET.
We've yet to hear Kemp's side of the story, but if there was any crazy drama or something, I'm sure we will. But we can only wish the couple the best of luck in their futures, and hopefully they can get it together.
